Programme of Rides 2011

Get involved in a Wobble Ride :

All our rides leave from Warminster Town Park on Saturday the 4th of June and we have a ‘no-one gets left behind’ policy.

Mountain Bike Rides

Led by fully qualified, experienced riders, this option will take in the local tracks and trails. This year you’ve got the options of a shorter, relaxed ride or a longer one for the more ambitious rider.

Road Rides

Within the stunning confines of the Wylye valley you have the choice of three rides. Quiet roads and beautiful scenery make for a great days riding. There’s a chance to grab a bite to eat at the Gingery Piggery, Boyton where there will be a tasty BBQ on offer.

1 The prize treasure hunt. A fun way to enjoy the day with prizes up for grabs. Never straying further than the Ginger Piggery at Boyton, 6 miles from Warminster town centre, this is the shortest ride.

2 Venturing further down the Wylye Valley to Hanging Langford, this is a straightforward out-and-back ride.

3 Taking a detour at the village of Wylye this ride takes in a total of 40 miles. There are some challenging hills going over to Dinton so be sure to bring your climbing legs! Once at Wilton the route heads back along the valley.

Family Ride

With little in the way of gradient and a relaxed pace, bring family and friends or just yourself for this easy-going option.

Additional Info.

Please make sure you bring some water and food for all rides. We also highly recommend the wearing of helmets on all rides. All riders under the age of 14 should be accompanied by an adult.

Make sure you give you bike the once over the day before to check for any loose bolts, dodgy brakes or skipping gears. This way you can enjoy the ride!

If you would like more information about these rides then feel free to Contact us.
